FREEDOM
"To a person who consents no injustice is done" I think it was Thomas Jefferson
who said that. Our version is "If you don't vote you can't bitch!" If you don't
like something give it your best shot to do something about it, besides cry in
yer beer. If it isn't accomplished at least you went down kicking, and they will
remember your position. If nothing else you planted a seed in their minds. Go to
meetings, rally the troops, give them a call, write a letter [one letter is
worth a hundred calls], E-mail 'em, let them know you are there and you care.
Without voicing your opinion they will roll right over you and not even notice
the bump. Upset that apple cart! They love a quiet populace so they can take the
easy way out without having to work for you like they are supposed to do, what
they promised to do when they were running for election. It's up to us to put in
place the proper people, VOTE, and then to guide them in their decisions. Even
if every time we contact them their reaction is "Oh God what do those clowns
want now", they know that we are a whole circus to be reckoned with. It's great
to be in America where we CAN affect change. We're riding without helmets aren't
we? I'm kinda jaded as far as the Presidential level, speaking of clowns, heck I
actively campaigned for George McGovern, worst defeat ever known in election
history! But look who they voted in, Nixon, I rest my case. Darrel Killion, our
esteemed leader, can tell you we DO make a difference at the national level.
Let's keep it up, keep it moving, and keep the Faith! I want to thank all you
BOZOs out there who are fighting for us all. TA-DA soapbox done, now on to
chapter news; I'm looking forward to February activities such as the Those Guys
bowling tournament and the Zzen chili cook-off on the 16th and 17th
respectively. As you read this they would have transpired and I hope nobody had
to be rushed to the hospital for bad chili. Legislative Days in Pierre went
well, although alot of you said you were going but didn't. We had enough to make
an impression and that's what it's all about. You can catch it on video for the
Feb. 9th show on the "Bikers Inner Circle" website. I think Sabrina is going to
quote some of our Freedom Flyer news also. Check it out. Alright enough for now,
WIZ P.S. I'm building a mini-chopper and I need a V-Twin Honda
generator/washer/whatever engine [used/cheap] to make it scream. Contact that
goomer at Freebird and he will get it to me.YUK-YUK! |
